At Evergreen Veterinary Care, community outreach is a part of our core values. To support this goal, we have created a fund called EVCares.
Did you know that Evergreen works with the organization Show Your Soft Side’s Street Kitty Fund? This organization supports caretakers of feral cat colonies in Baltimore City by providing acute medical care for injured kitties, as well as hosting “TNR” (Trap-Neuter-Return) style spay and neuter clinics throughout the year. It is one of our greatest joys to support the amazing work they do, and we could not do it without your help!
In addition to our partnership with Show Your Soft Side, we collaborate with local community organizations like Love & Cornbread to provide free rabies vaccination clinics for underserved communities throughout Baltimore City. At these events, we provide more than just vet care—we provide FAMILY CARE. We distribute both human and pet food, as well as goodies to our guests, while offering friendly faces and caring hearts.
Any food and unexpired prescriptions donated will be distributed to families who need it the most. We are truly honored by your support of our mission to provide Pet Care as Family Care.
